Job Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced RNA Molecular Biologist to join our team at Taylorollinson Ltd, a leading biotechnology company based in Cambridge. As a key member of our R&D team, you will play a crucial role in the development of our synthetic RNA technologies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct a wide range of molecular biology experiments related to synthetic DNA, mRNA synthesis, and gene expression.
  • Support external collaborators and internal R&D projects, optimizing DNA to in vitro RNA conversion processes and subsequent RNA purification.
  • Design and execute cell-based assays to evaluate immune response to RNA.
  • Work collaboratively with the R&D team to plan, refine, and execute experiments aligned with overall project plans.
Requirements
  • PhD in molecular or cellular biology, with a focus on RNA research (essential).
  • Expertise in techniques such as capillary electrophoresis, polyacrylamide electrophoresis, RNA quantification, DNA quantification, flow cytometry, and ELISA (essential).
  • Experience in cell reporter assays, cell transfection, and troubleshooting laboratory protocols (desired).
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment (essential).
  • Existing right to work in the UK (essential).
