Project Manager - Water Resource WINEP

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Project Manager to lead our Water Resource WINEP programme. The successful candidate will be responsible for the successful delivery of the programme, ensuring safe and timely delivery by the agreed regulatory output dates and in accordance with the agreed budgets and levels of quality required by environmental regulators.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the appointed contractor(s) to deliver the Water Resource WINEP programme
  • Lead liaison with Southern Water, with regard to aspects of the AMP8 WINEP programme that they are leading
  • Support the Water Resource WRMP24 and WRMP29 programme, including through programme development and management of the process
  • Facilitate liaison with key staff within Portsmouth Water and external bodies
  • Identification, reporting and management of key risks
  • Control and management of contract change
  • Undertaking role of Service Manager under NEC4 Professional Services Contract
Requirements:
  • Project Management Experience, particularly for environmental study type work
  • Sound computer literacy skills, particularly Microsoft Office 365 and associated tools
  • Full UK driving license
  • A degree (or equivalent) in an environmental science/water resources or related discipline, Geography, ecology related
  • More than 5 years' experience working in an environmental assessment or regulatory role or similar, ideally in a project / technical leadership or project management role
  • Previous experience in successfully implementing projects under the NEC4 suite of contract documents, particularly Professional Services Contract (PSC)
