Duties and Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Managing a portfolio of SME and personal tax clients, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of accounting and tax services.
  • Preparing and reviewing statutory accounts, corporation tax returns, and personal tax returns in compliance with UK GAAP.
  • Overseeing bookkeeping and payroll processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Working closely with junior accountants, providing guidance and fostering a supportive team environment.
  • Continuously seeking opportunities to improve practice efficiency and client service.
Requirements

To excel in this role, the candidate should be part or fully qualified (ACCA, ACA, ATT, or similar) with proven experience of working in a UK practice accounting environment. Excellent communication skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines are essential.
