We're seeking a skilled Chef to join our team at Compass Group UK & Ireland, where you'll have the opportunity to create exceptional food experiences for Defence on a part-time basis. As a key member of our culinary team, you'll be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality food that delights our clients and customers.

Your Key Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Developing and implementing menu changes to meet customer demands
  • Overseeing kitchen operations to ensure efficient food preparation and service
  • Identifying opportunities to improve our food services and implementing changes
  • Listening to customer feedback and using it to consistently improve our food services
  • Supporting the creation of new menus and creative food concepts
  • Representing Compass Group UK & Ireland and maintaining a positive brand image
  • Monitoring inventories to keep our kitchens well-stocked
  • Ensuring compliance with Food Handling, Hygiene, and Health and Safety regulations

Our Ideal Candidate Will:

  • Be passionate about great-tasting food and exceptional customer service
  • Hold a City & Guilds 706/1 & 2 or NVQ equivalent
  • Have experience supervising a team and leading kitchen operations
  • Have experience in a similar Chef role and a flexible approach to working
  • Hold a Food Hygiene certificate
