Service Care Solutions is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Social Worker to join our team in Flintshire County Council. As a Senior Social Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting and guiding our team members to deliver high-quality services to children and families.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and mentor newly qualified social workers, student social workers, and social work assistants to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their roles effectively.
- Handle complex cases, conduct thorough assessments, and manage risks to ensure the best possible outcomes for children and families.
- Provide casework supervision to team members, ensuring high standards of practice and care.
- Collaborate with colleagues and partner agencies to achieve the best possible outcomes for children and families.
- Contribute to the overall development of the team, sharing your knowledge and experience to drive continuous improvement.
- A degree in Social Work and CPEL (or equivalent qualification).
- A minimum of 3 years' post-qualification experience in social work.
- Registration with Social Care Wales.
- The ability to speak Welsh is desirable but not essential.
