Senior Cost Consultant Opportunity

This role offers a fantastic opportunity for someone with a strong track record of achieving exceptional standards in the delivery of projects, to join an existing team with an already brilliant reputation.



The Job Description

As a Senior Cost Consultant, you will be responsible for:



  • Networking and business development to establish strong relationships with clients
  • Working closely with clients to identify their needs and provide tailored solutions
  • Preparing tender and contract documents to ensure smooth project execution
  • Fee management and monitoring of job profitability to optimize financial performance
  • Pre- and post-contract surveying to ensure accurate project data


Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:



  • Recent experience in Construction Consultancy, preferably with MRICS qualification or working towards Chartered status
  • Knowledge of JCT & NEC contracts, although not essential
  • Excellent client-facing skills to build strong relationships and communicate effectively
  • Strong analytical skills to analyze and sort data into understandable formats
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines
  • Excellent interpersonal and team-working skills, motivated and productive attitude


What We Offer

In return, we offer a competitive salary based on experience (£60,000 - £80,000 per annum), flexible working arrangements, private healthcare, and a generous annual leave allowance. You will also receive a detailed induction program to ensure a smooth transition into the role.
