Job Description


The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality educational support to students in a supportive and inclusive environment. They will work closely with teachers and other support staff to identify individual student needs and develop strategies to meet those needs.




  • Support students in their educational and personal development, promoting social, emotional, and academic growth.
  • Work collaboratively with teachers and other support staff to deliver targeted interventions and programs that meet individual student needs.
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and participate in regular review meetings to discuss student outcomes.
  • Contribute to the development of a positive and inclusive learning environment, promoting respect, empathy, and understanding among students and staff.


Required Skills and Qualifications


To be successful in this role, you will require:




  • A relevant NVQ3 or equivalent qualification in Education or a related field.
  • At least three years' experience as a Teaching and Learning Assistant or classroom assistant, preferably in a similar setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with students, teachers, and parents.
  • Knowledge of curriculum requirements and educational practices, with the ability to adapt to changing circumstances.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities effectively.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development, staying up-to-date with best practices in education and child development.
