Job Title: Class 1 Driver

Rapier is seeking a skilled Class 1 Driver to join our team. As a Class 1 Driver, you will be responsible for operating a variety of vehicles, including inter-depot trunking and customer collection.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operating single and double decker box trailers
  • Using tail lift equipment
  • No handball, occasional pallet movement
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 1 year Class 1 licence
  • 90 days 'on the road' experience
  • Maximum of 9 penalty points (minor offences only)
  • UK Digicard and Driver CPC
  • Flexible attitude

Rapier offers a competitive rate of pay, with £17.54 per hour for days and £18.62 per hour for nights. Overtime is paid at time and a half after 8 hours. The role involves working various shifts, including days, afternoons, nights, and weekends.
