Support Teacher for Exceptional Progress

We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Support Teacher for Exceptional Progress to join our dedicated team at Teaching Vacancies. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with a talented and experienced team, committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people, and vulnerable adults.

The ideal candidate will possess drive, creativity, and a passion for delivering high-quality learning experiences that challenge and engage. You will supervise and provide support for pupils to improve engagement in learning, remove barriers to learning, improve attainment, and promote their self-confidence and emotional well-being. In addition, you will create and maintain a purposeful, orderly, and supportive environment.

This role offers routine opportunities for professional development that can lead to qualified teacher status or the completion of accredited therapeutic courses. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, where they can grow and develop as a professional.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the delivery of the curriculum across the school.
  • Supervise and provide support for pupils to improve engagement in learning.
  • Create and maintain a purposeful, orderly, and supportive environment.

Requirements:
  • Drive and creativity in delivering high-quality learning experiences.
  • Ability to promote self-confidence and emotional well-being.
  • Experience of working with children and young people.

What We Offer:
Salary: £24,442.20 per annum (inclusive of London Weighting Allowance), equivalent to £28,544 full-time equivalent salary. This is a permanent position working 36 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
