Electronic Circuit Specialist

We are recruiting for a skilled Electronics Engineer with expertise in fault finding and repair to join our client based in a Devizes location.
Key Responsibilities:
- Fault Finding: Analyse and understand the functionality of existing electronic devices to diagnose issues and develop repair strategies. To be able to do so without circuit diagrams would be beneficial.
- Component-Level Repair: Perform detailed repairs of electronic units, ensuring restoration to full functionality.
- Soldering: Highly competent use of soldering equipment, working with surface mount and through hole technologies.
- Circuit Diagram Interpretation: Read and interpret complex circuit diagrams to assist in troubleshooting and repairs.
- Test Equipment Proficiency: Utilise multi-meters, oscilloscopes, logic analysers, and other test equipment to diagnose faults and verify repairs.
- Multitasking: Manage multiple repair tasks efficiently, ensuring timely and high-quality outcomes.
- Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough testing of repaired devices to ensure reliability and performance standards are met.
- Documentation: Maintain detailed records of repair procedures, including diagnostics and parts used.
- Continuous Learning: Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in electronic repair.
Qualifications:
- HNC/HND in Electronic Engineering or related field.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting circuit diagrams.
- Hands-on experience with multi-meters, oscilloscopes, logic analysers, and other relevant test equipment.
- Strong understanding of electronic components and systems.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
- Good communication skills for documenting procedures and collaborating with team members.
- Friendly with an ability to work autonomously.
