About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Academic Mentor to teach employment, social, and life skills to students with varying degrees of SEND needs. This role offers an exciting opportunity to support in coordinating a small employability programme, guiding learners towards broader college pathways.

The ideal candidate will possess a full teaching qualification and substantial experience in supporting learners with SEND. To excel in this role, you’ll need exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, capable of motivating and inspiring both students and colleagues.

  • Teach a variety of employment, social, and life skills to students with SEND
  • Support in coordinating a small employability programme
  • Guide learners towards broader college pathways
