About the Job

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced UK Renewables Portfolio Manager to join our team at OXBO. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in renewable energy project development, with a strong focus on onshore wind, solar, and BESS projects.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing our portfolio of onshore wind, solar, and BESS projects across the UK and Scotland. You will identify and assess potential sites, conduct feasibility studies, and oversee permitting and land acquisition processes.

You will also manage planning applications, secure necessary consents, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project alignment and timely delivery. In addition, you will lead community consultations and address stakeholder concerns, while ensuring compliance with environmental, health and safety, and planning regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Identification and Feasibility: Identify and assess potential sites for onshore wind, BESS, and solar projects.
  • Project Development and Planning: Oversee permitting, land acquisition, and grid connection processes.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Build relationships with stakeholders, including communities, government agencies, and partners.
  • Project Management: Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with environmental, health and safety, and planning regulations.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, Renewable Energy, or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in renewable energy project development, focusing on onshore wind, BESS, and solar.
  • Proven success in delivering consented projects in Scotland.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Salary: £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience.
