Senior Wind Tunnel Systems Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Wind Tunnel Systems Engineer to join our Aerodynamics Technology Development group at Red Bull Technology.

This role offers a unique opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects, primarily for our state-of-the-art wind tunnel model and facilities. As a senior member of the team, you will be responsible for guiding development on various projects, managing your own workload, and mentoring junior engineers.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Professional experience in software development using C#.
  • Experience with industrial control systems, such as Beckhoff TwinCAT, Siemens S7/TIA, Matlab Simulink, and Pi Toolbox/Pi Diablo.
  • Ability to maintain high standards for code quality, unit testing, maintainability, and performance.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • An interest in Formula 1, experience with relational databases, and familiarity with containerization orchestration frameworks like Kubernetes would be a bonus.
