About Mentmore:

Mentmore is a pioneering organization in the field of data management, seeking a visionary professional to join their team as a Data Platform Strategist. This role is responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive data platform strategy that aligns with the company's ambitious data strategy programme.

The successful candidate will be accountable for defining standards for design, development, and maintenance of the global data platform, data pipelines, and leading the implementation of this capability, technology, and tooling globally.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop a global data platform strategy and roadmap that is modern, adopts industry standards across the spectrum of platform engineering, data engineering (pipeline development), and data operations
  • Implement a global approach to data platform standards with a view of business units being able to adopt them easily
  • Lead the global implementation of the enterprise data platform vision including the definition and application of appropriate policies, and standards across all business units
  • Select and implement data platform technologies, working with cross-functional teams to integrate data platform technologies within the organisation's operations

Requirements:

  • Significant experience of implementing cloud data platforms, specifically using modern data stack, across sectors
  • Demonstrates ambition to grow alongside the organisation as they progress the clients transformation journey
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Salary: £130,000 - £160,000 per annum
