About the Role:
A Contracts Manager is required to join the dynamic team at Fawkes & Reece South's Oxfordshire office. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering multiple Design and Build projects in the primary, secondary, and further education sectors, as well as commercial and blue light sectors. These projects typically have values ranging from 1-3 million pounds.
- You will oversee multiple contracts, managing them from pre-contract stages through to handovers, working closely with your delivery teams.
- As a leader, you will be accountable for client liaison, ensuring smooth project progression, and driving financial success in collaboration with the Commercial Manager.
- You will empower, develop, and support your project teams, fostering a positive impact across all projects. This includes proactively identifying key areas of risk and opportunity, helping teams plan accordingly, and providing guidance in challenging design, build, client, and sub-contractor issues.
- You will set high standards in health and safety, quality, client relationships, detailed forward planning, supply chain relationships, adherence to company processes, and rolling out lessons learned across your projects.
- In this role, you will oversee 2-3 construction teams on live projects, while also contributing to at least one project in the pre-construction phase.
- The ideal candidate will be an experienced Senior Project Manager/Contracts Manager with a proven track record of successful project delivery and leadership within a Tier 1 or 2 main contracting organisation.
- Key attributes include excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, client-facing abilities, management of design and site teams, technical, contractual, and commercial knowledge, vision, focus, and drive.

Estimated Salary: £55,000 - £70,000 per annum, depending on experience.
