Asset Coordinator

As an Engineering Planner at Glatfelter, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining planned preventative maintenance activities across the site. You will plan, coordinate, and schedule routine and non-routine maintenance activities, and lead and coordinate machine shuts through the development and delivery of combined operations machine shut plans.

• Monitor machine performance and breakdowns, and create relevant history for engineering improvements.
• Analyze and report on maintenance and machine KPIs and breakdowns to support improvement activities.
• Coordinate and manage external preventative contractors.
• Control and develop asset lists and implement plant I.
• Assist Production Managers in developing, implementing, and scheduling basic equipment care tasks for operators.
• Establish, schedule, and manage mandatory inspections, such as pressure systems regulations, hoists/lifting equipment, ladder inspections, PAT, thermography, and fixed internal services.
• Shutdown planning and management, including organization of spares and contract services.

• Ability to prioritize and deliver against set priorities.
• Team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to set up and maintain systems, maintenance plans, and controlled documents.
• Computer literacy.
• Experience in producing plans and schedules for planning major shutdown activities.
• Ideal candidate will have in-depth working knowledge and experience of SAP Planned Maintenance, be engineering literate, and educated to a minimum of HND/HNC level.
