About the Role

Fife Council's Residential and Day Services is seeking a Senior Social Care Worker to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a supervisory role, leading and coaching a care staff team to achieve high standards of care delivery.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of person-centred working and the ability to work collaboratively with other Council services and partner agencies to support effective planning and delivery of care and support.

This role requires experience of working in a supervisory role within a complex care environment and the ability to promote independence and social inclusion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To lead and coach the care staff team to achieve high standards of care delivery
  • To promote independence and social inclusion through the provision of a stimulating environment
  • To work collaboratively with other Council services and partner agencies to support effective planning and delivery of care and support

Requirements:

  • A strong understanding of person-centred working
  • An ability to work collaboratively with other teams and agencies
  • Experience of working in a supervisory role within a complex care environment

Estimated Salary: £32,437.57 per annum (pro-rata) based on a 37-hour week, plus access to a benefits package that offers discounts on a wide range of products and services.
