Job Description

Job Title: Commissioning Engineer - Water/Wastewater Specialist

Job Summary:

Fyba Talent is seeking a highly skilled Commissioning Engineer to join our team. As a Commissioning Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and quality commissioning of water and wastewater treatment projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement commissioning plans to meet project requirements
  • Lead commissioning activities to ensure timely and cost-effective completion
  • Collaborate with clients and internal teams to ensure smooth delivery and handover
  • Ensure commissioning activities are conducted in accordance with industry standards and best practices
  • Provide progress updates and raise concerns as necessary
  • Develop and review method statements and risk assessments for commissioning activities
  • Assist in the production of commissioning plans, inspection test plans, and training manuals
  • Coordinate with systems integration teams to conduct site acceptance tests and telemetry commissioning
  • Review P&ID diagrams and provide strategies for commissioning plant and equipment
  • Attend commissioning meetings with clients and internal teams
  • Undertake factory acceptance testing for major items of plant
  • Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors throughout the commissioning process
  • Commission, interface, and set to work equipment
  • Undertake or supervise NICEIC electrical installation testing to C&G

Requirements:

  • Industry applicable ONC or City & Guilds/NVQ equivalent
  • SSSTS
  • CSCS card
  • 1st Aid trained
  • Water & Waste Water Industry background
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft office packages
