Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Precision Machining Specialist to join our team at the FGP Group. As a key member of our precision engineering services, you will play a critical role in producing high-quality aerospace components.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate CNC turners with live tooling to produce complex components.
  • Conduct thorough inspections using equipment such as Verniers, micrometres, SPG's and PPG's to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Maintain total process control through regular in-process inspections.
  • Manufacture components from engineering drawings, adhering to strict quality standards.
  • Accurately record and maintain information about the manufacturing process on job cards.
  • Prioritize preventative machine maintenance schedules to minimize downtime.
  • Hold a Level 3 engineering qualification or equivalent, with experience operating different machine tools.
About the Role

This is a night shift position, requiring flexibility and dedication. In exchange, you will be rewarded with a competitive salary of £38,000 - £42,000 per annum, depending on experience.
