Plumbing Supervisor

We are seeking an experienced Plumbing Supervisor to join our team at Gov Facility Services Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance of our facilities, ensuring that all plumbing and heating systems are functioning properly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise a team of plumbers and heating engineers to ensure that all maintenance tasks are completed to a high standard.
- Manage and maintain all plumbing and heating systems, including water supply and drainage systems.
- Conduct regular inspections to identify and report any issues or defects.
- Develop and implement maintenance schedules to ensure that all systems are properly maintained.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure that all facilities are safe and secure.
- 5 years' experience as a plumber or equivalent.
- Familiarity with Water Supply Regulation and Control of Legionella L8 requirements.
- Experience working on commercial or industrial heating and water or building services systems.
- Experience of supervising staff.
- Confidence and competence in using full MS Office package.
- C&G 6189 Plumbing and domestic heating.
- C&G 5962 certificate in Plumbing (Advanced craft).
- C&G 6019 Mechanical Engineering services (plumbing).
- C&G 6018 heating and ventilation installation.
- C&G 6129 certificate in Plumbing.
- C&G 214 Engineering systems maintenance.
- C&G 6188 Heating and ventilating.
- C&G 6088 certificate in heating and ventilating.
- C&G 6032 the advanced craft certificate in plumbing.
- EAL Diploma in Plumbing and Heating.
- Up to date First Aid at Work Qualification - Desirable.
- Relevant professional qualifications (facilities management/project management) - Desirable.
- Good Health & Safety knowledge.
- Excellent organisational, time management and people skills.
- Holidays are 25 days per year plus Bank Holidays.
