About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced and skilled individual to cover the Eastbourne area, performing maintenance and repairs within domestic social housing properties on a local housing association contract.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Conduct Annual Gas Safety Checks (LGSR)
  • Fault find and repair central heating systems
  • Adhere to all Health & Safety requirements and legislation, including Risk Assessments, Safe Systems of Work, and COSHH records
  • Possess a full UK driving licence
  • Meet DBS check criteria for unspent criminal convictions
  • Work 5 hours per week, Monday to Friday
  • Overtime paid at time and a half door to door
  • Addition overtime and weekend work available at enhanced rates
  • Van, tools, PPE/uniform, and PDA provided
  • Monthly bonus up to £200
  • Out of hours call out rota 1 week in 4 paid at £400
  • 25 days holiday plus bank holidays
  • Pension Scheme

  • Competitive salary of approximately £45,000 per annum, commensurate with experience
  • Enhanced overtime and weekend pay rates
