About the Opportunity:
We are seeking a highly motivated Secondary Chemistry Educator to join our team at a fantastic school in Haringey. The ideal candidate will have a passion for teaching Chemistry and a commitment to delivering high-quality education.

Job Description:
The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Chemistry lessons at various levels, developing and implementing creative teaching strategies, and incorporating practical experiments and real-world applications into lessons. They will also be expected to assess student progress and provide constructive feedback, collaborate with colleagues to plan the Chemistry curriculum, mentor and guide students in their personal and academic development, and establish a supportive and inclusive classroom environment.

Requirements:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience teaching Chemistry in a secondary school setting
  • Strong subject knowledge and effective communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment
  • Experience in planning engaging lessons
