Job Title: Korean Games Tester

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Korean language expert to join our team as a Games Tester. As a key member of our Localization Quality Assurance (LQA) team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest quality of our games and applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Test games and applications for linguistic accuracy and correctness
  • Identify and report linguistic bugs using industry-standard bug databases
  • Collaborate with developers to ensure effective testing and support of all features
  • Participate in test requirement gathering and contribute to the development of test cases
  • Continuously improve and refine LQA processes and techniques

Requirements:

  • Expert-level proficiency in Korean language
  • Strong written and spoken English skills
  • Passion for video games and gaming industry
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Proactive, tenacious, and enthusiastic approach
  • Attention to detail and focus on quality
  • Good working knowledge of MS Office Suite

Desirable Skills:

  • Previous experience in LQA, translation, or proofreading
  • Working knowledge of CAT tools (MemoQ)
  • Knowledge of video game industry and trends
