Job Title: Geochemistry Technical Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Geochemistry Technical Manager to join our team at the University of Exeter. As a key member of our research laboratory, you will be responsible for providing technical management of all aspects of geochemistry across our laboratories.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical management of geochemistry laboratories, including the use of analytical equipment and development of new methods and standard operating procedures.
  • Ensure quality assurance, health and safety, and provision of advice to staff and students.
  • Contribute to on-going research programmes and publish work in scientific journals.
Requirements:
  • Well-versed in the use of ICP technology and other analytical geochemistry techniques.
  • Experience in sample preparation and operating in a clean environment for trace element analysis.
  • Ability to work in a forward-looking environment where the delivery of reliable and accurate data is central to the future success of the department.
