Senior Engineering Quality Director

We're seeking a Head of Studio Engineering to join our dynamic team and play a pivotal role in shaping the future of automotive design.
This exciting opportunity will see you manage and develop the Forseven Studio Engineering team and processes, working in a hybrid capacity from our UK locations. You'll have the chance to collaborate with some of the most visionary minds in the automotive industry and contribute to the development of groundbreaking vehicles.
As Head of Studio Engineering, you will be responsible for managing studio engineering activities across multiple full-scale vehicle programmes, providing Studio Engineering support from early concept design through to manufacturing feasibility and tooling release.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Developing a surface feasibility and convergence process aligned to the Forseven NPI/gateway process.
- Working closely with the Architecture and Engineering teams to ensure input to the development of exterior and interior surfacing activities.
- Leading cross-functional design and engineering reviews to drive design convergence and ensure on-time delivery of hardpoint and technical inputs.
- Overseeing CAD development of feasible engineering schemes and proposals that deliver design intent.
- Managing design themes and surface output to ensure compatibility with legal requirements, standards, and programme assumptions.
We're looking for an experienced Studio Engineering Manager with a proven track record of leading multidisciplinary teams and delivering feasible design solutions at pace. You'll have a deep understanding of whole vehicle engineering, including bumper, exterior trim engineering, exterior lighting systems, occupant and pedestrian safety, closures, manufacturing and assembly, instrument panel, console and door trim engineering.
