**Mechanical Assembler & Fitter Wanted:**

We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated individual to fill a key role in our precision instrument manufacturing team at Mane Contract Services.

  • The ideal candidate will have a relevant college qualification, confidence in reading technical drawings, and a willingness to learn and grow within a highly specialised industry.

  • You will be responsible for performing assembly and production tasks, building and preparing mechanical sub-assemblies, and conducting alignment of systems.
  • Additionally, you will engage in ongoing training to expand your expertise in a niche market area and participate in site installations, customer support, and training sessions.

  • A competitive salary of £35,000 - £50,000 per annum, negotiable based on experience.

Requirements:

  • A relevant college qualification in mechanical engineering, manufacturing, or a related field.
  • Confidence in reading and interpreting technical drawings and assembly instructions.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges in a specialised market.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
  • Hands-on experience in mechanical assembly, including pneumatics, bearing housings, and alignment tasks (preferred but not essential).
  • Basic understanding of health and safety practices in an industrial environment.
