Key Responsibilities:
  • Delivery and Collection Management: Manage all deliveries and collections, including receipt of products, stock control, and weighbridge operations, while ensuring contractors adhere to Fuel Handling area induction.
  • Fuel Inventory Process: Manage fuel inventory process, ensuring accurate tracking and reporting.
  • Mobile Plant Operation: Competent to operate all mobile plant, ensuring safe and efficient operation.
  • Chipping Maximisation: Ensure chipping is maximised, optimising fuel efficiency.
  • Product Sampling: Undertake product sampling and timely preparation for analysis, ensuring quality control.
  • Quality Control and Inspection: Quality control and inspection of fuel supplies, validated against specifications.
  • Compliance: Compliance to all related company procedures and company safe systems of work.
  • Reporting and Communication: Reporting any areas of concern and be proactive in offering solutions, communicating all situations that present serious or imminent risk.
  • Maintenance and Troubleshooting: Carrying out routine and first-line maintenance as required, troubleshooting any production disturbances that may occur.
  • Training and Development: Train new operators as required, demonstrating complete ownership of the Plant undertaking housekeeping duties and audits.
  • Safety Tours and Audits: Conduct safety tours/site visits and report findings through the Safety Management System.
  • Shift Log and Handover: Produce a detailed shift log and carry out a detailed and effective handover.
  • Learning Management System: Ensure all aspects of the Learning Management System including assigned objectives are completed within the relevant timescales.

Requirements: To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong understanding of fuel handling operations, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Working Hours: This is a full-time position, working 37.5 hours per week.

Location: This role is based at our Wilton facility.
