Regional Manager Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Regional Manager to join our team at Whale Tankers Ltd. As a Regional Manager, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day service and local parts sales operation with full profit and loss accountability.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Leadership and Management: Demonstrate a supportive approach to all staff by creating and maintaining a working environment focused on employee engagement. Motivate employees to achieve business KPIs and goals by setting appropriate objectives.
  • Service Delivery: Lead and manage the service operation to achieve designed sales, gross, and net profit. Produce and manage budgets for current and following financial trading periods.
  • Quality and Compliance: Carry out documented quality performance reviews, provide feedback, and agree improvement tasks and initiatives. Ensure all company and declared customer SHEQ standards are met while liaising with internal and external departments.
  • Employee Development: Deliver structured employee development to ensure competence is achieved and maintained. Create individual documented employee development pathways.
  • Supply Chain Management: Manage parts flow and supply chain relationships to ensure maximum efficiency.
Requirements:
  • Experience: Previous Service/Depot/Regional Management experience is required.
  • Leadership: Evidenced history of leading and growing a successful business unit.
  • Communication: Good communication skills and the ability to work on your own initiative.
