About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Physics Graduate to join our team as an A-Level Physics Coach at a high-achieving secondary school in Tottenham. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious individual interested in pursuing a career in teaching and making a positive impact on the lives of young people.

Job Description

The successful candidate will support A-level Physics students, initially working as a coach, and have the option to pursue teacher training with the school after one year. The role involves holding interventions, focus groups, and tailoring teaching styles to meet individual students' needs. Experience working with young people is desirable but not essential.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support A-level Physics students as a coach
  • Hold interventions and focus groups
  • Develop and deliver tailored teaching plans
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • An undergraduate degree in Physics or a closely related discipline
  • A-level Mathematics or Further Maths
  • A strong desire to pursue a career in teaching
  • Strong knowledge of the Physics A-level curriculum
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

We offer a competitive salary package, including £25,000 - £35,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition to a supportive work environment, you will have access to ongoing professional development opportunities.
