Job Role: Bandsaw Machinist

At Metalis Engineering Recruitment Limited, we are seeking a skilled Bandsaw Machinist to join our team on a 4-week temporary basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating automatic band saws, maintaining saws, and contributing to the safety programme.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operation of automatic band saws
• Maintenance of saws
• General housekeeping in the saw shop and machine shop
• Contribute to the safety programme as required

Requirements:

• Previous bandsaw operation experience
• Availability for 1 month temporary cover
• Ability to produce work to a high quality
• Good accuracy and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team

Working Conditions:

• 37.5 hour working week
• Days only
• £11.85ph
• 1 month temporary cover
