Teaching Personnel is seeking a dedicated Learning Support Assistant to join a supportive team within a large secondary school in the Darlington area. This full-time role will focus on working with children aged 11-18 on an individual basis or in small groups, supporting them throughout their daily school life.
Key Responsibilities:- Dealing with a range of pastoral issues, engaging with pupils across various abilities and backgrounds.
- Providing extended individual support within the classroom setting and across the school site.
- Implementing interventions to benefit students, working closely with teaching staff to achieve long and short-term goals.
- Aiding teachers with timetabling, attendance, assessments, and examinations.
- Passion for working with young people.
- Ability to adapt to diverse learners' needs.
- Previous experience working with young people, preferably in a school environment.
