Deputy Care Home Manager Opportunity

Job Summary:

Jupiter Recruitment is seeking a dedicated and experienced Deputy Care Home Manager to join our team. As a Deputy Care Home Manager, you will play a vital role in the day-to-day management of a care home, working closely with the Registered Manager to ensure the highest standards of care are maintained.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Registered Manager in the line management of a team of staff, ensuring they comply with relevant legislation and regulations.
  • Take pride in providing exceptional care to residents, managing the service to the highest standards.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of care plans, ensuring the needs of residents are met.
  • Collaborate with the Registered Manager to ensure the smooth operation of the care home, including staff supervision, training, and development.
  • Participate in quality assurance activities, including audits and inspections, to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

  • NVQ Level 3 or 4 in Health & Social Care.
  • Experience in a care home setting, with a strong understanding of relevant legislation and regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with residents, staff, and external partners.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to quality care and service provision.
