Job Title: Registered Nurse - ICU

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to join our Intensive Care Unit (ICU) team. As an ICU Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to critically ill patients, working closely with the multidisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individualized patient care, assessing and evaluating patients' needs, and developing and implementing care plans.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, ensuring safe and effective care.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless communication and coordination of care.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, adhering to NHS policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC).
  • Minimum of 6 months' experience in an ICU environment within the last 3 years.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
