About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Night Manager to join our team at Apex Hotels Ltd. As a Night Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our hotel's front office and accommodation services during the night shift.

Main Responsibilities
  • Assist the Front Office Manager in the running of the night operation, ensuring effective processes and procedures are in place.
  • Represent the Front Office Manager, Operations Managers, and the General Manager in their absences, serving as the main point of contact for all hotel emergencies.
  • Liaise with department heads on a daily basis to ensure exceptional guest experiences.
  • Plan and communicate VIP arrivals to the hotel team, ensuring seamless execution.
  • Conduct regular Health and Safety audits and Night Security walk-around checks to maintain a safe and secure environment.
  • Ensure the Night team has the necessary tools and training to complete their tasks efficiently.
  • Be present in the lobby and reception during peak times, providing support to the team and promoting a selling culture.
  • Lead the Night team to deliver exceptional customer service at all points of the guest journey.
  • Act on all guest feedback, positive and negative, responding to guest reviews and updating guest profiles accordingly.
About You

We are looking for a well-organized and excellent communicator who is committed to building and developing the team. To excel in this role, you will have:

  • Previous experience working in a Front Office/Nights Accommodation environment in a supervisory role.
  • Knowledge of the hospitality industry and its best practices.
  • Excellent service delivery skills and a customer-centric approach.
  • Knowledge of Health and Safety procedures and protocols.
  • Previous experience with the Infor Front Office system or any Property Management System (PMS) would be an advantage.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and IT systems.
