We are seeking a seasoned Senior Care Manager to lead our team in providing exceptional care and support to adults with autism and complex needs. As a key member of our residential services, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the highest standards of care and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.

About the Role:

  • Care Provision: You will be responsible for ensuring the provision of high-quality care, support, and accommodation to individuals, promoting their physical, emotional, and social well-being.
  • Compliance: You will ensure the homes are compliant with CIW and County Council requirements by monitoring quality, evaluating performance, and developing action plans to address areas for improvement.
  • Reporting: You will complete 6-monthly quality of care reports and submit them to the business manager/director.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for overseeing the residential staff, ensuring they are appropriately trained and supported.
  • Ensure all activities within the households are carried out in compliance with regulations.
  • Work collaboratively with the Head of Residential and RI to reflect the quality of the service provided during inspections by the Care Inspectorate Wales (CIW) inspections.

Requirements:

  • Significant operational experience in a care environment working with all levels of staff and management.
  • Demonstrate the ability to manage emotionally challenging situations and be a team player with experience in support work in both educational and residential settings.
  • Have a high level of personal resilience and emotional and social intelligence.
