About the Role

This exciting opportunity has arisen for a History Education Professional to join our dedicated team at Wayman Learning Trust. As a Secondary School Teacher - History, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality education to our students and contributing to their academic success.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement innovative lesson plans that meet the needs of secondary students.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback and guidance.
  • Establish a positive and respectful learning environment that promotes academic excellence.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve shared goals and objectives.
  • Attend and contribute to school-related meetings and events.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Hold a recognized teaching qualification, such as QTS or equivalent.
  • Possess a degree in a relevant field or subject of specialization.
  • Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Have a strong understanding of the national curriculum and its application.
  • Be able to adapt teaching styles to meet the diverse needs of learners.
Salary and Benefits

The salary for this position is £35,000 - £60,000 per annum, paid to scale on a permanent contract following the MPS/UPS pay scale within the National pay scale.
