Job Summary
A Principal Subsea Structure and Tie-in Engineer is required to support offshore deepwater projects. This role will be responsible for leading the engineering activities related to subsea structure and tie-in systems in the different phases of the project, from feasibility to Basic/FEED and along the execution phase for several new upcoming or ongoing initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Support all engineering activities related to subsea structure and tie-in systems throughout the project lifecycle.
- Lead design and safety reviews, HAZOP, HAZIDs, and risk assessments.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project deliverables are met.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource plans.
- Identify and mitigate project risks, and implement corrective actions as needed.
Requirements
- Minimum BS Degree in Mechanical or Structural Engineering, or other related engineering discipline.
- Demonstrable experience in the Oil and Gas Industry with respect to subsea structures and tie-in systems from preliminary engineering through detailed design.
- Strong leadership and project management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
