Job Title: Environmental Health Officer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Environmental Health Officer to join our Commercial Team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of food safety and health and safety regulation in our district.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage approved food businesses and special treatment registrations
  • Conduct inspections and investigations to ensure compliance with regulations
  • Provide guidance and support to food businesses and residents on food safety and health and safety matters
  • Collaborate with other teams to ensure effective regulation and enforcement
Requirements:
  • Professional EHRB or CIEH Registration
  • Proven track record of dealing with complex cases and contributing to business process improvement
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
