We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Language Instructor to join our team at BSC Education Limited in Bedford. This is a fixed-term summer contract position available from July 2025 to August 2025.
SalaryThe salary for this position is between £600-£650 per week, commensurate with experience. In addition to the weekly salary, you will receive accommodation and meals as part of your benefits package.
Job DescriptionCompany Overview:
BSC Education Limited is committed to providing high-quality learning experiences for students from around the world. As a Language Instructor, you will play a key role in delivering effective lessons and supporting the development of our students.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging language lessons to students of various ages and proficiency levels.
- Teach a minimum of 15 hours per week and provide academic course support duties as needed.
- Support teachers with lesson planning and delivery, and conduct teacher observations with the Director of Studies.
- Assist with graduation photos and project showcase days, and work collaboratively with the academic team.
- Attend and participate in academic meetings and INSETT sessions.
- Be responsible for promoting and safeguarding the welfare of children and young persons, and familiarize yourself with the BSC Young Learners Safeguarding and Child Protection Policy and BSC Safeguarding Policy.
Requirements:
- CETLA or Trinity TESOL qualification, plus substantial young learner teaching experience.
- At least two years' experience working with young learners.
- High level of computer literacy, particularly MS Office, email, and use of databases.
- Excellent lesson planning skills and adaptability.
- Ability to work well in a team and remain calm under pressure.
- Right to work in the UK/EU (depending on the respective centre).
- Enhanced DBS clearance.
