Audit and Accounts Professional

Your new firm is a market-leading and longstanding accountancy practice with a large national presence across the UK and Ireland. They are seeking to appoint a new audit and accounts manager into their head office in Manchester. This role has become available following an extended period of company growth and expansion within the lower levels of the audit and accounts department.
Key Responsibilities- Take an active role in all areas of an audit from planning through to completion.
- Lead and manage audits, completing tricky and complex areas of fieldwork, and finalising concluding reports.
- Prepare and review statutory and management accounts for a varying portfolio of clients, as well as VAT and tax returns.
- Take the lead in coaching juniors and seniors, reviewing their audit and accounts work, and providing valuable insights to clients.
- Professional audit and accounts manager with extensive experience working in an audit team within a practice carrying out high-quality audit work.
- Experience in all three aspects of an audit and plenty of exposure to coaching junior/senior members.
- ACA/ACCA qualified.
- Excellent interpersonal and managerial skills with a strong commitment to providing professional excellence.
