Technical Event Specialist

As a key member of our London team at proAV, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional technical support for events and conferences.
Key Responsibilities
- Setting up and operating integrated events spaces, including high-profile auditoriums and town halls.
- Proficient in audio, video, and lighting equipment, both digital and analogue.
- Configuring and supporting video conferencing and audio conferencing systems, including Zoom, Cisco, and Polycom platforms.
- Managing all aspects of video calls, from scheduling to monitoring and completion, including system testing prior to high-profile events.
- Preparing equipment for future events and meetings as required.
- Collaborating with the Breakfix team to identify and resolve faults, including hardware replacement and upgrades.
- Providing first- and second-line repairs, as well as ongoing preventative maintenance, including daily checks on all equipment in the building.
- Offering audio-visual support to other areas of the business, including setting up PA systems and assisting with presentations in meeting rooms.
- Developing strong relationships with clients and colleagues, showcasing excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Working in a team environment and being a sole technician responsible for client sites, with the ability to work independently when needed.
