About the Role:

You will oversee the day-to-day management of their outpatient physiotherapy service, reporting to the Physiotherapy Manager.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Implementing service delivery projects to improve patient outcomes and service efficiency.
  • Coordinating staff training and development to ensure they have the necessary skills to provide high-quality care.
  • Reviewing patient documentation to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Conducting audits to identify areas for improvement and implementing changes to ensure the service is safe and effective.
  • Managing Performance Development Reviews (PDRs) to support staff development and growth.
  • Ensuring the service adheres to safety and regulatory standards, including the implementation of governance frameworks.
  • Having a strong knowledge of orthopaedics and musculoskeletal physiotherapy, as well as an understanding of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP) Standards of Physiotherapy Practice and Rules of Professional Conduct.
  • Being able to work within governance frameworks and comply with regulatory standards.
  • Having experience in the private sector is advantageous.
