About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Theatre Scrub Nurse to join our team at Ramsay Health Care Clinical. As a key member of our theatre team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and supporting our surgeons and anaesthetists during operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist surgeons and anaesthetists during operations, ensuring a safe and efficient operating environment
- Prepare and maintain operating theatre equipment and supplies
- Monitor patient vital signs and report any concerns to the surgical team
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care
- Participate in theatre team meetings and contribute to the development of theatre policies and procedures
Requirements
- NMC registration with no restrictions or conditions
- Surgical scrub experience within all specialities
- Surgical First Assist Qualification (SFA) would be desirable, but not essential
- Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment as well as independently
- Flexible and positive attitude
- A warm, considerate and empathetic character
