Advanced Social Care Professional

As a social worker in our Children in Care service, you will play a vital role in supporting vulnerable young people and their families to achieve their goals and aspirations.
Key Responsibilities- Work collaboratively with children, young people, and families to identify and address their needs, and develop personalized support plans to promote positive outcomes.
- Conduct regular visits and assessments to ensure the safety and well-being of children and young people in care, and provide guidance and support to families to help them meet their responsibilities.
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with other professionals, including foster carers, kinship carers, and other agencies, to ensure a coordinated approach to supporting children and families.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest legislation, regulations, and best practices in social work, and apply this knowledge to inform your practice and decision-making.
- A qualified social worker with relevant registration to practice and a good understanding of asset-based approaches to social work.
- A problem-solver with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to build strong relationships with children, young people, and families.
- A creative and innovative thinker, able to develop and implement effective solutions to complex problems.
- A commitment to ongoing learning and professional development, with a desire to stay up-to-date with the latest research and best practices in social work.
