Job Title: Year 2 Primary School Teacher
About the Role:
We are seeking a qualified and experienced Year 2 Primary School Teacher to join our team at a vibrant and fun primary school based in Stanwell. The ideal candidate will have a passion for teaching and a commitment to providing a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum to groups of children while also focusing on each individual child's learning targets.
- Develop maths ability and introduce fractions, statistics, and geometry.
- Help children develop their writing ability by creating plots, characters and settings for stories.
- Keep track of children's progress and occasionally report back to parents.
About the School:
The school is a 4 form entry school located in a lovely residential area of Stanwell. It has a friendly environment that welcomes early career teachers (ECTs) with open arms. The school aspires to develop well-rounded, confident pupils through its supportive pastoral environment.
Requirements:
- Relevant qualifications (Experienced teachers as well as ECTs are welcome to apply).
- Ability to commute to Stanwell via public transport.
- Confidence to hit the ground running, proactively lead a class and manage behaviour in line with school behaviour policies.
