Job Description

At HelloKindred, we're seeking a skilled Candidate Interview Specialist to join our Human Resources team.

This role plays a critical part in the Client's Experience and Assessments Hub and is essential to maintaining the high standards of the Early Talent assessment process for graduate, intern, and apprenticeship candidates.

The successful candidate will be an Interviewing SME, conducting a high volume of interviews while ensuring quality, consistency, and fairness are maintained in line with the Early Talent Assessment model.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of recruitment processes and the Early Talent market within the UK, with excellent communication skills to confidently interact with a broad audience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conducting high-volume in-person final interviews in our London office during peak recruitment periods
  • Supporting interviewing managers with advice and guidance
  • Welcoming candidates into the London office and assisting the Interview Co-ordinator as needed
  • Acting as a support to candidates, helping them prepare for each stage of their recruitment journey through hosting Q&A sessions, phone calls, and other communication channels
  • Conducting second-stage virtual interviews using our recruitment platform, scoring, and creating feedback
  • Communicating outcomes to candidates and providing verbal feedback when requested
  • Helping to manage a busy candidate inbox, responding to candidate queries, and ensuring any interview adjustments are in place
Candidate Management and Experience
  • Managing the Applicant Tracking System to ensure candidates are screened and progressed through the pipeline in a timely manner
  • Acting as the custodian of the candidate assessment journey, orchestrating touchpoints that leave a lasting positive impression
  • Ensuring fairness and consistency for all candidates, while being aware of UK diversity targets and local demand
  • Keeping up-to-date with business updates and external changes that may impact recruitment
  • Managing the digital chat platform to connect with candidates and enhance their experience
  • Supporting candidate calls on an ad-hoc basis, e.g., start date calls and candidate updates
  • Continuously enhancing and developing all candidate communication
Reporting
  • Using candidate ATS and digital platform data to produce insightful reports to support decision-making in processes
Requirements
  • Volume interviewing experience is essential – Occupational Psychology background is helpful
  • Training interviewers experience is essential
  • Experience working in a professional services environment and an understanding of the graduate recruitment market is essential
  • Understanding of ethical interview practices and Equality Act
  • Applicant Tracking System experience (Workday is an advantage)
  • Excellent communication skills, able to confidently communicate with a broad audience
  • Ability to pick up new information and technologies quickly
  • Ability to work with changing demands
  • Relationship management skills
