We are seeking a qualified SEN/SEND tutor with a passion for working with children and young people with Special Education Needs and Disabilities (SEND), Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs (SEMH), Moderate and Severe Learning Difficulties (MLD/SLD), or other Additional Educational Needs.
This is a part-time opportunity for someone who wants to make a real difference in the lives of our students. As a SEN/SEND tutor, you will provide Maths, English, or Science tuition to young people referred to us by local authorities and schools.
The role involves planning engaging and holistic sessions that meet the individual needs of each student. You will also be responsible for completing lesson reports and providing feedback on progress.
**Required Skills and Qualifications:**
- Professional Teaching Qualifications (Qualified Teacher Status / QTS / QTLS)
- Minimum 2 years teaching experience
- Experience working with young people with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, and/or other Additional Educational Needs
- Experience, knowledge, and understanding of safeguarding processes
- Enhanced DBS (we can help obtain this at cost if needed)
- Two professional references
**Salary:** £28,000 - £35,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
