Senior Embedded Software Engineer Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Embedded Software Engineer to join our client, a leading electronics manufacturing business in Stroud, on a permanent basis.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing embedded software for microcontrollers, using C and C++ programming languages. Experience with RTOS and bare-metal development is essential, as well as a good understanding of hardware principles.

Our client offers a competitive salary of up to £75,000 and a hybrid working arrangement, with the possibility of remote work. However, the successful candidate will be required to work in Stroud at least 2 days per week.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop embedded software for microcontrollers using C and C++
  • Work with the development team to ensure seamless integration of software and hardware components
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve technical issues
  • Develop and maintain documentation for software and hardware components
Requirements:
  • Strong experience with embedded C and C++ programming languages
  • Proficiency in RTOS and bare-metal development
  • Good understanding of hardware principles and microcontrollers
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
