Job Summary

The CDL Shuttle Driver is responsible for safely transporting employees and customers from parking facilities to their designated areas. This role requires a high level of customer service and safety awareness at all times.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain safety standards while transporting employees and customers
  • Ensure the vehicle meets all safety requirements and is up to date with maintenance
  • Follow all traffic signs and laws, and maintain posted speed limits
  • Verify authorized passengers before boarding the shuttle
  • Maintain a set schedule to minimize delays
  • Ensure a positive experience for all passengers
  • Resolve issues in a timely manner
  • Extend exceptional care philosophy at all times
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with managers and passengers

Qualifications

Years of Experience: 6 months of professional driving experience

Language Skills: Proficient in English, both verbally and written

Education Requirements: High School Diploma or GED

Licenses Required: CDL class A, B, or C with Passenger Endorsement

Certificates Required: Updated Medical Certificate, DPU Certification

Requirements:

  • Ability to read, write, and verbally communicate in English
  • Sit for long periods
  • Walk short distances
  • Operate a shuttle bus safely
  • Hold a valid driver's license in the state of residency
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds
  • Be at least 18 years old
  • Smile during every customer interaction
  • Maintain uniform standards
  • Pass a criminal background check and drug test
  • Meet company driving standards
  • Pass a company-issued driving test
  • Build relationships with customers
  • Develop time management and problem-solving skills
