About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned philanthropy professional to join our team as a Major Donor Fundraiser. This is a permanent role that will play a vital part in our long-term fundraising strategy.

The successful candidate will have a track record of securing gifts at £50k+ and will be comfortable making asks at five and six figures. They will also have a strong understanding of philanthropy and what makes major donors tick.

The role will involve building strong relationships with key stakeholders to generate income, managing budgets, and achieving targets. The ideal candidate will be a team player who can work flexibly to meet the needs of donors and lead by example.

About You

We are looking for someone who is passionate about philanthropy and has a genuine interest in making a difference. You will have a strong network of contacts and be able to demonstrate a proven track record of securing major gifts.

You will be a confident and proactive individual who is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. You will also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with donors, colleagues, and other stakeholders.

What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary and benefits package, including 27 days + bank holiday leave, rising to 29 days after 5 years and 33 days after 10 years. We also offer the opportunity to buy extra holidays and a 7% employer pension contribution.
